Localization Technology Partners provides startups and scale-ups with localization program management as a service.

This is a turnkey program that includes the following services:

• We source and provision translation technology that best suits your current and anticipated needs.
• We source both machine and human translation service providers (we are big fans of a blended approach that combines AI/machine and human translation to deliver optimal quality at scale and speed).
• We train and manage EPD (product, engineering and design) staff around subject areas related to localization and internationalization, such as building process automation and tooling, localization QA, multilingual product functionality, etc
• We handle day to day localization operations and insure that translation work is being done efficiently and with quality.
• We work with senior management to develop international expansion and go to market strategies that reinforce company objectives and goals.

We engage with companies on a monthly retainer. Clients own their business relationships with the vendors we put in place, so they can bring the program in house as they grow. Our experience has been that most companies under 500 people are best served by this type of fractional employment arrangement.

Early Stage Startups

We also consult with early stage companies to help them future proof their applications, and to help them avoid common traps and tech debt that are costly and time consuming to retire later. We offer half day training sessions for product, engineering and design staff to introduce the basics of internationalization. Most importantly, we will show them a few, low|no effort patterns to use that will largely eliminate the accrual of tech debt that will end up costing 6-12 months and hundreds of thousands of dollars to retire later in the company’s development. We also present a condensed version of this training at startup incubators and bootcamps.
